Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use QuoteMeter as a homeowner. QuoteMeter is operated by Inno Creative Pty Ltd, ABN 51 701 297 627. By using the site or sending a request, you agree to these terms.

What QuoteMeter does

QuoteMeter is a matching service. When a business covers your area, we pass your request to that one independent business. It holds its own licence. QuoteMeter is not a tradesperson. We hold no trade licence, we don't do any of the work and we don't give quotes.

It's free for you

You don't pay QuoteMeter anything. The business pays QuoteMeter for the referral. The price of any work is between you and the business.

We can't promise a match, a call or a quote

We can't promise that a business will be available in your area, that it will call you, how quickly it will call, or that it will quote. We don't set or promise any price.

If no business is available for your request, we won't pass your details to anyone and we'll delete your request within 14 days.

Your agreement is with the business

If you go ahead with a job, your contract for the work is with the business, not with QuoteMeter. The business quotes and contracts with you directly and is responsible for its quote, its work, its warranties and its conduct. To the extent the law allows, QuoteMeter isn't responsible for the work or for anything the business does or doesn't do. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

If you agree to a job over the phone or at your home, the law usually gives you 10 business days to cancel.

Check the business yourself

We check each business's licence on the state register before it receives a request. Licences and insurance can change, so before you agree to anything, check the licence with your state's licensing body, get the quote in writing and ask about insurance.

Rebates

Where a government rebate or incentive might apply, the installer assesses whether you're eligible. QuoteMeter doesn't promise any rebate.

Using the site properly

• Give your own true details, or details you have permission to give.
• Only ask for quotes for real jobs.
• Don't send spam, automated requests or anything unlawful, and don't try to interfere with the site.

We may ignore or remove requests that break these rules.

Changes and contact
